Las Vegas is warm 9-months of the year, and very hot the other 3 months. When you plan your garden, forget thrive, you’re going to want to focus on plants that will have the best chance at survival. Tomatoes are a great place to start. They originate from the always sunny Central and South America.
They grow and ripen with the best of them, even in hot heat. You’re sure to enjoy a vine-ripe tomato compared to anything that’s picked and shipped, which is basically anything from your grocery store. Provide them with plenty of water and they will have no problem standing up to the brutal Las Vegas heat.
